And increasingly popular are wood composite planks that withstand the elements with no warping or fading. Highland Design + Build has experience building decks of all types, shapes and sizes.
We can also create beautiful gazebos and pergolas for a fully or partially covered space. Train vines up the sides and you’ll have a lovely floral canopy overhead in no time!
Patios & Terraces
To remain at ground level but out of the dirt, consider extending your living space into a back or side patio. Poured concrete, slate slabs or paver stones can all be implemented to create the perfect lounge spot.
